Havan

Havan (fire ceremony) is an ancient tradition revived by Sri Babaji. It is a ceremony which happens besides the fire, usually in a Dhuni (a small hut for havans). During the ceremony people sit around the havan kund and offer mixed raw rice, ghee, flowers, coconuts, fruits, milk and curd to the fire in the company of mantras uttered by a priest. After offering, we sing Aarti to Divine Mother Amba.  Babaji said the fire in havan is the real form of gods and whatever offered to the fire will go directly to the god that is being invoked by the mantra. Havan can give abundance of rain and increase the harmony between gods and humans.
